Lawyer Nurhan Polat Bodrum completed her secondary and high school education at Sankt Georg Austrian High School, then graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. She successfully completed her master’s degree in “Economic Law” at Galatasaray University Faculty of Law.
During her university years, she worked in the legal department of Türk Henkel A.Ş., gaining professional experience in corporate law; following her graduation, she worked for six years at Tanverdi Law Firm and for three years at Akkök Holding A.Ş. She has been practicing law since 2012 and has been registered with the Muğla Bar Association since 2020, and previously with the Istanbul Bar Association.
With more than ten years of professional experience, Atty. Nurhan Polat mainly provides legal services in rental and property law, construction and real estate disputes, divorce and family law, compensation claims, labour law, criminal law (including cybercrimes) and contract law.
In line with the structure of Bodrum, residential and commercial leases, disputes arising from apartment and site management, construction and real estate projects, contracts related to the tourism and service sectors, as well as legal issues encountered by domestic and foreign clients, are among the areas she predominantly works on.
Since 2005, Atty. Nurhan Polat has been actively involved in the activities of the Austrian High School Alumni Association. She served as an alternate member of the Board of Directors between 2012–2017 and has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2018.
